ETHNO-ECO VILLAGE HUMAC
One of the hidden gems of Hvar is the abandoned shepherd's village of Humac. It takes you back to nature in a stunning and tranquil setting! The charm of this village lies in its harmonious stone houses, courtyards, narrow streets and nature which all give an inspiring sight.Once populated pastoral village of Humac was founded in 17th century and today is an amazing example of a well-preserved rural architecture. Traditional stone-houses of Humac are considered ethnographic monuments and the entire village is in the Register of Cultural Monuments.
TOUR DETAILS
The excursion lasts 2 hours and includes a tour of the Ethno-eco village Humac and Grapčeva cave with the entrance to the museum-etnographic collection, the church of St. John and Paul, the distillery of the essential herbs which is followed by a 30-minute guided walk through untouched nature and lavander fields to Grapčeva cave
